🥁🎶 A big thank you to Ben Hunter for sharing his musical talents during Music Morning yesterday!
Ben treated our students and staff to a wonderful performance featuring several different instruments, creating an engaging and memorable start to the day. In addition to sharing his music, Ben taught students about the history behind some of the selections he performed, helping them connect with the stories, traditions, and cultures that inspired the music. 💙🐋
We love seeing musicians share not only their talents, but also their knowledge and passion for music—it’s what makes Music Morning such a special part of our Chautauqua community! ✨

🎥✨ Student Spotlight: Evie ✨🎥
When Evie learned about geometry, she decided she wanted to help other students learn too.
Inspired by a video her teacher shared about hyperboles, Evie set a goal for herself: create a video that teaches geometry concepts in a way that is engaging and easy to understand. To bring her vision to life, she explored a variety of digital tools and applications, teaching herself how to use them by watching tutorials and practicing new skills.
The result is a creative, student-designed learning resource that demonstrates not only her understanding of geometry, but also her perseverance, curiosity, and commitment to helping others learn.
We are so proud of Evie for taking ownership of her learning, embracing technology, and sharing her knowledge with others. Great work, Evie! 👏📐📏

WOW—this is what community is all about! 💚
Thank you to everyone who showed up and worked so hard at the Chautauqua Elementary School garden clean-up last weekend. Your time, energy, and care made a huge difference for our students and our school.
A special shout-out to Amy Bogaard for organizing such a meaningful event, and to Annie Hancock for her continued work supporting our garden and helping prepare for Earth Day—when our students will get to learn and grow in this space.
We are so grateful for this incredible community! 🌱
