This spring, Vashon Artists in Schools (VAIS) will collaborate with Vashon High School & Mcmurray Middle School to host Arts Blitz & Be Curious arts events on each campus. These immersive workshops run concurrently in classrooms, outdoor areas . . . nearly every nook available on one very exciting day. Students (and teachers, too!) choose their workshops from a host of options and spend about 3 hours with every art form: weaving, murals, stage combat, mime, tap, hip hop, songwriting, spoken word, improv, found art, masks, and so much more!
If you’re an artist with a talent to share, we would love to invite you to participate!
