What an amazing week at the Marshall-Putnam Fair as well as the Section 5 FFA fair!

At the Marshall-Putnam fair, Midland FFA’s pork chop stand was very successful! We love hosting this stand, so thank you to everyone who makes it possible for us to provide this! Kyler Gauwitz, our president, and Bridget Moodie, our chaplain, were also able to participate in the Lowering the Flag Ceremony. Thank you, and congrats, Bridget and Kyler! We also had many individuals compete in livestock shows, as well as those with their other projects, at both the 4-H fair and FFA fair. Thank you to everyone who helped out and participated! Congrats to all!

Special gratitude was expressed to Mr. Robert Eckert who is retiring as the Illinois FFA Convention Choral Director after 38 years of service to Illinois FFA. Mr. Eckert is a native of Henry, Illinois and has been a motivated and highly decorated music educator in Illinois for fifty years including stops at Henry-Senachwine, Mt. Pulaski, Putnam County, and Wyoming High Schools since 1976.
