This past Thursday, green hands from all around section 5 traveled to LTS! LTS, or Leadership Training School, is a section-wide event that teaches green hands the importance of communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and teamwork skills to strengthen their chapters. Members participated in workshop rotations, team-building exercises, and hands-on sessions with our section 5 officers, as well as state sentinel Levi German! We are so grateful for another successful LTS, and we hope you all had a great time!

What an amazing week at the Marshall-Putnam Fair as well as the Section 5 FFA fair!

At the Marshall-Putnam fair, Midland FFA’s pork chop stand was very successful! We love hosting this stand, so thank you to everyone who makes it possible for us to provide this! Kyler Gauwitz, our president, and Bridget Moodie, our chaplain, were also able to participate in the Lowering the Flag Ceremony. Thank you, and congrats, Bridget and Kyler! We also had many individuals compete in livestock shows, as well as those with their other projects, at both the 4-H fair and FFA fair. Thank you to everyone who helped out and participated! Congrats to all!
