• Aug 31-Sept 4 -Pre DPLA Navajo Assessment Grades Kindergarten and 4th Grade
• Sept 1-2 -Amira ISIP Beginning of Year (BOY) Reading and Math (Grades K-2)
o Sept. 1 -Reading, 9-10 AM
o Sept. 2 -Math, 9-10 AM
• Sept 4 -Progress Reports
• Sept 7 -Labor Day, NO SCHOOL
• Sept 8 –“Be Here Day!” Attendance Day
• Sept 10 – Grades K-6: Formative Assessment Unit 2 (ELA, Math, Science 5)
• Sept 15 -ELA Night 5-6:30 PM, DSE Gym “Reading Under the Stars”
o Families will participate in interactive literacy activities that strengthen phonics, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, storytelling, and academic conversation while learning simple reading games they can recreate at home.
• Oct 1 – Grades K-2 Amira ISIP Progress Monitoring Assessment -Reading/Math
• Oct 2 -PAW Leader Awards, Preparedness "Always Ready"
• Oct 6-7 – Grades K-6: Formative Assessment Unit 3 (Writing, ELA, Math, Science 5)

• Oct 13 -Title 1 Meeting, 5-6 PM, DSE Gym “Building the Foundation”
o Art Night, see your student’s art come to life!
o The purpose of the DSE Title I Family Learning Series is to help families understand how Title I supports student achievement while giving parents practical strategies and materials they can use at home. Each meeting connects to David S***t Elementary's 90-Day Plan and Title I goals for improving literacy, mathematics, academic discourse, intervention, attendance, and student achievement.
