Classes start for dual credit students on August 24th. They have ONE week to change their schedule without it being on their transcript or financial responsibility for the class.

Van-Far FALL SPORTS/ACTIVITIES MEETING
Wednesday August 19th at 6:30 PM
Location: Football Bleachers

Due to the ongoing construction at Van-Far HS, the Fall Sports and Activities Meeting for Parents, Players and Coaches will be held at the Van-Far Football Field in the Bleachers.

We have posted Pickup Times and Locations for all Van-Far buses for the start of school next week.

We will also have listings at Open House for parents to confirm where their child is being picked up in the mornings.

Open House Update

Good afternoon,

Our contractors, custodians, and staff have been working diligently to prepare for students’ return on August 25. We are excited to welcome everyone back!

We will have a slight change to Open House tomorrow at the High School/Junior High School only. The Elementary Open House will remain as previously scheduled.

The JH/HS building WILL NOT be open for access tomorrow evening. However, we will have tables set up outside (weather pending) the school near the gym entrance where students and families can take care of the following:

Get schedules and make schedule changes with Mrs. Utterback
Pay lunch and technology fees
Pick up iPads (returning/incoming 7th graders will be ready)
Receive MAP/EOC data scores
Yearbook pick up
Drop off medications
Get information about bus transportation
Visit the Booster Club
Complete free and reduced-price lunch forms
7th-grade parents: Pick up an orientation information page

Attendance at these tables is completely optional, but we will be available to answer questions and help families complete these tasks.

Athletic Meeting
Our athletic meeting location has also changed. It will now be held at the football stadium bleachers at 6:30 p.m.

We hope to see you tomorrow evening and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to get everything ready. We look forward to having our students back in the building soon!
