Dual Credit payments are due tomorrow in full or set up a payment plan(there are fees)…if you are enrolled in College algebra or Statistics with Mrs Reading these are not due until after 9/30 when MACC officially enrolls you.

VF class of 2026, in just a few short weeks you will begin your final year of high school, wow time has flown. As you approach your senior year, if you have not visited or toured a college/trade school you are interested in, now is the time. Yes, you get two college visit days during the school year, but why not schedule a visit now, most arrangements can be made online at the school of your choice.
And, August 1 all schools in the University of Missouri system will open their applications for Fall 2026. Truman will open August 4. State Tech is already accepting applications, just be sure you are applying for the Fall 2026 term. Many others like Northwest MO state have rolling admissions, again just pick the correct enrollment term.

The deadline for the first ACT of the school year is August 1, for the September 6 test. If you plan on applying test optional (if that is a choice), be sure to have an essay and activities resume ready to submit in its place.

It’s going to be a fun, exciting time as you have so many lasts and many firsts as well, and we can not wait to watch you embrace each one. Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Utterback

FCCLA is hosting a Shoe Drive until Dec 21! Bring your new or gently used shoes and drop them off at one of the 3 locations: van-far elementary/high school or Vandalia YMCA! No skates please! Our goal is 90 bags and we are currently sitting on 5. Please help us reach our goal! Thank you for supporting us!

Fafsa will open on December 1, 2024 for the 2025-2026 school year. In the meantime, go ahead and create a login and see what documents you will need so you are prepared.
