Strong marriages don't happen by accident, they're built by people who never stop learning.

Recently, our Executive Director, Matthew Zoller, traveled to Denver alongside MarriageTeam founders Al and Autumn Ray to attend the 2026 NARME Summit, where marriage and relationship leaders from across the nation gathered to share research, best practices, and innovative strategies for strengthening marriages and families.

One of the highlights of the week was Matthew reconnecting with Dr. Gary Chapman, whose encouragement and continued endorsement of MarriageTeam's ministry was a meaningful reminder of the impact being made through our dedicated volunteer marriage coach couples.

We're thankful for opportunities to grow, collaborate with others who share our mission, and return home with fresh ideas that help us better serve couples, churches, and communities.

🌟 Meet Tanya Chappelle 🌟

We are thrilled to welcome Tanya Chappelle to MarriageTeam as our new Director of Development!

Originally from the Bay Area, Tanya spent her formative years in Reno and Hong Kong, where she worked at the Mexican Consulate and even contributed to the construction of one of Hong Kong's airport bridges. She earned both her undergraduate degree in Politics and her MBA from Willamette University. 🎓

Tanya and her husband, Jonathan, have been married for 29 years and are the proud parents of three amazing children who are growing into wonderful young adults. ❤️

When she's not working, you'll likely find Tanya enjoying a challenging walk with friends, savoring a delicious cappuccino ☕, staying active, enjoying good food, or sharing meaningful conversations with her husband.

What excites Tanya most about development work is helping people connect their generosity with their desire to make a lasting impact. She believes everyone has a heart for giving, and that the right conversation can uncover where their passion and purpose intersect. 🤝✨

Tanya brings extensive experience in development, events, and donor engagement, and she is excited to serve MarriageTeam's mission by helping more couples find hope and healing through Christ-centered coaching.
