As one of six campuses of the Washington State University system, WSU Vancouver offers big-school resources in a small-school environment.

We provide baccalaureate- and graduate-level education to benefit the people, communities and economy of Southwest Washington. Washington State University Vancouver is in the homeland of Chinookan and Taidnapam peoples and the Cowlitz Indian Tribe.

If you've noticed construction along NE Sam Smith Drive, it's not a WSU Vancouver construction project—it's part of C-TRAN's Vine on Highway 99 expansion! 🚧🚌

Beginning in 2027, WSU Vancouver will become the northern terminus of the new Vine line, bringing faster, more frequent and more reliable transit to campus. Plus, students will continue to ride free throughout Clark County with the Education Opportunity Pass.

This partnership with C-TRAN will make it even easier to get to class, work, internships and more.

Butterflies are quietly disappearing across the United States, but research at WSU Vancouver is helping make a difference.

Earth.com recently highlighted the work of WSU Vancouver conservation biologist Dr. Cheryl Schultz, whose research is advancing our understanding of butterfly population declines and informing conservation efforts across the country.
