Yesterday, the new Christmas album “Make the Season Bright” by the brass trio West Arts Brass was released on BandCamp by HiCap Records. Today is BandCamp Friday, when Bandcamp forgoes its share and more of your purchase price goes to the artists themselves. So, check it out, and be a part of supporting independent music.

West Arts Academy is proud to announce the release of the album Make the Season Bright by academy instructor, composer, and brass player Will Stewart. It’s a collection of 10 Christmas tunes arranged for brass trio (2 trumpets and baritone horn). The album was released on HiCap Records () and is available for purchase now on BandCamp. West Arts is excited to announce its upcoming Rock Ensemble for Summer 2022. Have a young musician at home looking for something to do this summer? Check out West Arts Academy’s Rock Ensemble. It’s open to vocalists, guitarists, bassists, and drummers. The students will learn how to put together a setlist of great tunes, and then peform that setlist in front of a live crowd. It’s great for building skills, friendship, and memories. Rehearsals begin July 18. Register soon to reserve your spot in the band.
