Jason Lee Families:
Below you will find information about Jason Lee Open House (previously referred to as Curriculum Night) on Tuesday, September 19th from 6:00-7:00.
What is Open House?
-An opportunity to see your student’s teacher
-An opportunity to see the building
-An opportunity to learn more about the school
-An opportunity to learn more about the curriculum
-Teachers will not be giving a formal presentation, but they will be available to answer brief questions, meet you in the classroom, have curriculum available to preview, etc.
What Open House is not…
-One on one conferences with your student’s teacher (this happens in October: 10/19, 10/20).
What is the format?
-You will receive a Scavenger Hunt document with a checklist of items to complete throughout your Open House evening.
-We will not follow a set bell-schedule format; you will complete the Scavenger Hunt at your own pace.
When you leave our Open House, completed Scavenger Hunt forms will be turned-in for a chance to win a raffle prize from our FCRC!
Do I have to attend?
-This is not required. You have access to course syllabus information on Canvas & class information in Synergy..
Are students allowed to attend?
-Yes! It’s recommended that your student come and guide you through their schedule.

What To Do With Old Spirit Wear?
Currently the FCRC (Family Community Resource Center) is accepting donations of used JL school spiritwear. When students are in need of an article of clothing, these are a hot item in Hillary’s office. Please consider donating JL spirit wear if your student is “moving on” to high school or has outgrown the clothing. Drop off anytime in the FCRC and keep the spirit going!
