We’re excited to bring you COIN CHALLENGE next week March 30 April 3rd. Students can bring in cash and coins to boost their grades points or SABOTAGE other grades!!! Coin jars can be found in library area at both schools! Donations help fund valuable school events, activities and teacher givebacks that help Pleasant Valley thrive!

We are excited to meet our future kindergartners!

Chances are- if your kids are… well. Kids. They’re bound to use the spare clothes in the nurses office at some point- please consider donating so that no one has to wear wet socks all day (your car smells bad enough already).

Good news: it’s Friday. Bad news: it’s not BINGO Friday…… YET!

Join us next week Friday 1/16 in the big gym for a family fun night of bingo! There will be prizes, specialty soda options, and pizza by the slice!

Table seating is limited and only available by reservation. If you choose not to reserve a table, we encourage you to bring a blanket as seating will be on the gym floor. No outside chairs allowed, however extra folding chairs will be available.

The 8th Grade Celebration Committee will be selling Pizza by the Slice, Candy, Chips & drinks.

CASH PREFERRED. CARDS ACCEPTED WITH A TRANSACTION FEE.

Reminder: this is not a drop off event - students must be accompanied by an adult.

Tomorrow is gingerbread lane! Please remember that gingerbread houses must be dropped off before school tomorrow (Tuesday 12/16). Pick up your creation and check to see if you won a prize tomorrow night from 5:30-7.

This event has it all!
* toy drive (bring new toys and clothes to donate to PV families!
* book swap (grab a new book and drop off books that you’re no longer using!)
* free cookies
* Ice cream renaissance food truck (portion of proceeds will go back to PVPTA!)

Socktober is over and we are blown away by the generosity of our PVP community!

Here’s the final count:
🥇 fourth grade with 1,160 donations
🥈third grade with 1,024 donations
🥉first grade with 323 donations
🏅TK and Kinder with 267 donations
🏅second grade with 213 donations

That’s a total of 2,987 pairs of socks, gloves, beanies and scarves. Way to go, PVP!!

We will be handing these donations over to our family resource center at the next PVP assembly on November 19th. As a reward for all their donations, third and fourth graders will be invited to have a crazy sock day on the 19th and will be the two grade levels with students selected to play in a game at the assembly.
