Classmates, if you are still using this older “Hudson’s Bay Class of 1973” PAGE, we are getting unwanted spammers. I just BLOCKED a “Mellisa Wong” who was posting inappropriate content.
That’s the problem with using a Facebook PAGE. Anyone can follow/comment/look/stalk.
That’s why we’re asking people to move from this Page over to our “Hudson’s Bay ‘73” Group. Jamie, Chris, or I individually approve members that ask to join. Goal is to make it more safe and secure. After this HB ‘73 Reunion we’ll be shutting this PAGE down. If you need help moving over to our “Hudson’s Bay ‘73” Group let us know.

JOINING THE NEW HB 73 GROUP:
Understandably, there’s confusion about how to join our newer HB 73 group.
If you are seeing a Bonsai tree profile pic at the top you’re on the old “Hudson’s Bay High School - Class of 1973” business page that we are migrating out of; we’re asking Classmates to join the new group for future class communications.
Here’s what you do to join the new group:
1. Search for “Hudson’s Bay ‘73” (it has an Eagle on the Profile Pic.)
2. Request to Join
3. Answer 3 quick questions
4. Submit
One of the Administrators (Jamie, Chris, or Launie) will approve.

Classmates,
We are starting the process of migrating our communications over from this current Facebook PAGE (a PAGE is generally used for business purposes) to a new easier to find and use GROUP titled “Hudson’s Bay ‘73” in order to make announcements, classmate communications, and posting more secure, accessible, and user friendly for everyone. Administrators on the Group are Jamie Warren, Chris Farley, and Launie O’Leary.
With this new Group Classmates will now have the ability to post content, more easily find previous posts, and upload pictures yourselves (with no Ads to wade through.)
To preserve privacy and provide more security, this will be a Private Group, open only to HB ‘73 era classmates (and other accepted family members or friends.) That means you’ll need to search and then request to join the group. There are a few quick questions, but this way Administrators Jamie, Chris, or Launie can make sure only bonafide HB classmates/family members have access. And best…no ads to wade through or scammers to worry about!
We’ve added new Photo Albums that include: the recent 2023 - 50th Class Reunion, 2018 - 45th Class Reunion, some Yearbook photos, and a Fallen Classmate Album with pictures of those who have passed away.
We hope this will be an easier way for everyone to communicate and stay informed about upcoming events and activities, and get news about fellow classmates.
We’ll double post news/events here and on the new Group for awhile before we sunset this Page, just until everyone gets the word.
