Sunset PTO is a formal non profit organization that includes parents, teachers, staff and families. Our goals are: To encourage parents to feel heard and get involved, to engage families and school staff in communication and collaboration, to promote the welfare of students, families and staff within the educational setting. The PTO serves all students, families, teachers and staff by facilitating communication through meetings, social media and email, actively fundraising, and organizing family events. When our PTO meets the financial goals set we are able to provide teacher allotments for classroom supplies, host more free or reduced cost family events, give back to the school for large projects like classroom flexible seating, and provide for staff appreciation and student awards.
