Come join us this week! Monday and Wednesday is Yoga Basics, focusing this week on abdominals and forward folding poses; Tuesday is Gentle Yoga — little to no cardio, slower pace, this week an all-floor practice to aid the digestive system.

This week’s yoga adventures! Monday, a practice of repeating pose sequences for greater depth and ease. Tuesday, a Gentle Yoga class with both standing and floor poses. Wednesday, a cooling practice with some lovely Restorative poses to reset the vagus nerve. All classes live stream on Zoom, beginners are always welcome!

This week: celebrate tonight’s Blue Moon (a rare second full moon within one month) with Lunar Flow on Monday! Tuesday, an all-floor Gentle class benefitting the solar plexus region, and Wednesday a look at twisting poses for spinal health!

Yes! We are having class on Memorial Day … and it’s a lovely one focusing on poses to build and maintain bone health … plus lots of calming poses, because lowering your cortisol level also helps protect your bones! Tuesday’s Gentle will be a mix of standing and floor poses, and Wednesday we’ll look at poses to support a cranky sacro-iliac joint.
All classes stream live over Zoom, all beginners are welcome, and all classes are $10 per person per class!

This week, poses to strengthen your pelvic floor on Monday; Tuesday, an all-floor Gentle class; and Wednesday, a look at ways to use yoga blocks in your practice (if you don’t have yoga blocks, grab a couple of hard-back books!). All classes stream live on Zoom and cost just $10 per person per class!

This week's classes - Monday, playing with doing our warm-up on our feet, followed by the regular standing poses ... then a mix of standing and floor poses for Tuesday's Gentle Yoga class, and wrapping up on Wednesday with a deep dive into Wheel Pose, including a lovely restorative version using a bolster and blanket (or a blanket and whatever other props you have).

This week on the mat: a practice reminding us of the dual power of striving and yielding … alternating strong poses and sequences with restful, surrendering poses. Then an all-floor Gentle class, and Wednesday a look at Urdhva Danurasana (Wheel Pose) and its variations, including a fully supported Restorative version!

This week’s yoga classes: Monday, heart openers! Help counter a rounding forward posture by working the upper chest and shoulders, which also stimulates the heart chakra. Tuesday, a Gentle practice with both standing and floor poses, and Wednesday a look into Dancer Pose (Natarajasana).

Nature can be a great inspiration for a yoga practice. Flowers and other plants don’t think about what they look like when they’re growing and blooming — they just feel their way through it slowly, seeking the sun and the rain. What would happen if you unfolded into your poses that way, playing with how far your body was willing to open, and not judging your experience?
Tuesday, an all-floor Gentle class, and on Wednesday, lots of ways to use yoga straps to make poses easier or to shift the muscle work from one place to another (hands-free Down Dog, anyone?).
