Aero Maintenance Flight Center is a full service FBO providing for the needs of our customers from our 12,000 square foot facility at the Vancouver Pearson Airport. For over 20 years we have provided quality airframe and power plant maintenance, avionics repairs, flight instruction and support services from the oldest operating airport in the United States. Visiting pilots will find our staff well trained, courteous, and knowledgeable. Our fuel island is well lighted and there is coded access to the ramp area for cargo and baggage transfers. Rental car companies, tourist attractions, the Pearson Air Museum and Fort Vancouver Historic Reserve are all within minutes of the airport. As a cost effective and time saving alternative to Portland International Airport, we offer more affordable tie-down rates and are actually two miles closer to downtown Portland on Interstate 5.

For all of you pilots (and drivers) out there, Mo's in Astoria is a great place to grab some grub. Astoria airport (AST) does have courtesy cars (may need to call ahead). AST airport staff is great! Restrooms and fuel available for pilots.

✈️ Celebrate 100 Years of Flight at Pearson Field!

Fly in, walk in or ride your bike - All are welcome! Fuel your morning with EAA's Chapter 782 Pancake Breakfast by the Pearson Field Education Center. Get there early starts at 7:30am! $10 for adults, $5 for kids (cash only). Then, spend the day exploring!

Main event starts 10AM – 3PM for a day packed with aviation history.

🎉 Event Highlights:

Vintage Static Aircraft – Get up close to historic planes that shaped aviation history!

Food Trucks

Live Music

Paper Airplane Competitions– Test your folding and flying skills at 12pm

Talks & Tour – Learn from experts and explore the airfield’s rich history

Booths– Local vendors and aviation organizations

Schedule:

7:30am - EAA Pancake Breakfast - Outside Pearson Field Education Center, cash only

8-9:30am - Aircraft arrivals

9:45am - Band Plays opening song - Adjacent to historic Pearson Field Hangar, music plays throughout day.

10am – Public Welcoming - Outside historic Pearson Field Hangar

10-3pm - Free CTRAN Shuttle every 30 mins from Parking Lot A

11am - Spruce Mill Walking Tour - Meet at pedestrian opening of fence adjacent to Headquarters Building (SW corner)

12pm - Paper airplane contest - Historic Hangar

1pm - FAASTeam Safety Seminar - Pilots lounge, TOPIC: Non-Towered Operations in the Portland Area

1pm - Martin Middlewood Guest Lecture - Tex Rankin Theater

3pm - Aircraft Departure & End
