Due to construction on Main Street the sidewalk going from south to north (8th heading up towards 9th) is blocked off. Please plan to walk over from north to south (starting from the 9th St. end of Main heading south towards 8th St.)

Spread the word and tag your Edgewood friends. As many of you may have heard, our school community has been deeply affected by recent RIF (Reduction in Force) budget decisions. Many of our teachers are being cut for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. These are not just positions—they are people who have supported, encouraged, and built meaningful relationships with our children.
As parents, we have a powerful voice—and right now, our voices matter more than ever.
We are asking for just 20 minutes of your time to join a planned walk-in to show our collective support for the incredible staff at Edgewood. This is a chance to stand together as a community and advocate for the teachers who have invested so much in our children.
Please take a moment to review the attached flyer for details.
In addition, there is an upcoming district board meeting where we strongly encourage families to attend and speak up. By showing up, we can advocate for keeping the teachers our children already know and trust—especially in schools like ours that are being disproportionately impacted by these cuts.

This is not a PTA-sponsored event; however, we are sharing this information to stand in support of our teachers who are impacted by these district decisions. We care deeply about our school community and want to help ensure our educators feel supported during this time.

We’re excited to announce that the Edgewood PTO Annual Auction is happening on May 2, and this year we’re going full throwback with an all-new theme - Forever Young: 90's Prom Fundraiser.

Did you know the Edgewood building was built in 1996? That makes this the perfect time to celebrate our school with a little nostalgia while supporting our classrooms, teachers, and students.

So save the date, spread the word, and start planning your best 90’s-themed attire — think big hair, bold colors, throwback glam!
