We are VERY proud of María Galindo Cordova, student in the School, for her winning proposal to the College of Arts and Sciences's competitive Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, or Creative Activity Support fund. Mentored by Human Development faculty Elizabeth Soliday, Fine Arts faculty Harrison Higgs, and SLCR faculty Cassandra Gulam, María is working with in-home childcare providers in Washington State to gather, memorialize, and share the experiences of these essential workers who remained open through the pandemic despite enormous barriers. She and the other winners are feature in the news blurb below. ¡Felicidades, María!
