📚 Teacher Request Tuesday 👩‍🏫

When Evergreen teachers were asked what they needed most for their classrooms, they didn't ask for anything extravagant. They asked for the everyday supplies that help students learn.

Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. Whether you pick up an extra item while you're shopping, donate through our Amazon Wish List, or make a financial gift to help us fill the remaining requests, you're helping equip our classrooms for a successful school year.

One of the most requested supplies from our teacher survey? Copy paper.

It may not be the most exciting item on a shopping list, but it's one teachers use every single day. For worksheets, art projects, newsletters, math activities, and so much more. Every ream donated helps classrooms spend less on essentials and more on learning.

Want to help? Drop off copy paper at any Stuff the Bus location or shop our Amazon Wish List!

📚✏️Its that time of year again! Stuff the Bus is back! 🚌

Each year, our community comes together to help support Evergreen students and classrooms through our annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive.

Before teachers left for summer break, we asked them a simple question: "What supplies do you actually need?"

Eighty-nine educators responded, and their answers were both eye-opening and heartwarming. As school budgets continue to tighten, many classroom essentials end up coming out of teachers' own pockets. Some wish lists included specialty classroom materials, while others simply asked for basics like copy paper. So many teachers expressed how grateful they were for any support at all.

Using their responses, we created an Amazon Wish List featuring the supplies teachers requested most. Whether you shop the registry or use it as inspiration while shopping locally, every item will help equip Evergreen classrooms for the new school year.

🚌 Here's how you can help:
📍 Drop off new school supplies at one of our 11 community collection locations from July 17–27.
🛒 Shop our Amazon Wish List through the end of July and have your donation sent directly to us. (Link in the comments)
💚Sponsor a classroom wishlist. Monetary donations help us fill the gap of what was donated and what teachers need.

Every notebook, pack of pencils, box of tissues, ream of copy paper, and marker set makes a difference. Together, we can help ensure our educators have the tools they need so students can start the school year ready to learn.

Thank you for investing in our teachers, our students, and our Evergreen community. 💚

⛳ What a beautiful day at the golf course today for Learning Avenues Child Care Centers Golf Tournament!

The Evergreen School District Foundation was proud to be a Hole Sponsor and spend the day connecting with community members, supporters, and local leaders who share a passion for helping children thrive.

There were plenty of laughs, great conversations, and even a special photo opportunity featuring three former Foundation Presidents together, a wonderful reminder of the many people who have helped shape and support our mission over the years.

At our tee box, golfers participated in our community impact activity, sharing which areas of the Foundation's work they believe make the biggest difference for students and families. We loved hearing their perspectives and learning what matters most to our community.

One highlight of the day came when a golfer visited our booth and immediately supported our upcoming school supply drive by purchasing items directly from our Amazon registry right from the tee box! 📚✏️ Thank you again Dan True! American Family Insurance - Dan True

Thank you to Learning Avenues Children's Center for hosting such a fun and meaningful event, and thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more about how the Foundation supports scholarships, teacher grants, school supplies, and families throughout Evergreen Public Schools.

Together, we're building brighter futures for students, one connection at a time. 💚

Last June, the Evergreen School District Foundation experienced a significant leadership transition, welcoming an entirely new executive leadership team. Over the past year, these dedicated leaders have invested countless hours strengthening the foundation’s future—reviewing and improving processes, rebuilding community relationships, and creating systems that will support long-term sustainability and smoother transitions for years to come.

Their leadership helped grow and engage the board, refocus efforts on supporting students and educators, and strengthen the Foundation’s connection to the district and community.

This week, the Foundation’s executive officers: Dani Reyes, Jeffery Cannon & Kelsey Oldham were honored with a Community Leadership Award, in recognition of their service, commitment, and leadership. Throughout a year filled with challenges, change, and important conversations, they remained focused on the mission and the students we serve.

This recognition is a testament to their dedication, resilience, and the positive impact they have made on Evergreen School District. Congratulations, and thank you for your leadership. 💙💛

MardiGreen Gala 2026

Safe to say we closed out this year’s theme with a bang. It is truly an honor for our Board of Directors to stand up and represent not only the students we serve, but also the educators who dedicate countless hours to shaping the next generation.

The Evergreen School District Foundation was built on a simple promise: when needs arise, we will do our best to help bridge the gap. This year’s gala also gave our entirely new leadership team a powerful reminder of what community truly looks like. The support we’ve received from the District—and the grace extended to us by the students and staff of Evergreen School District as we navigated some significant changes—has been nothing short of remarkable.

We will continue to grow.
We will continue to build.
We will continue to raise funds.
We will continue to say yes when needs arise.
And we will continue working to change the lives of students.

Because at the heart of it all, that’s why we’re here—for the kids.

It is an absolute privilege to work alongside our incredible community sponsors, partners, and leaders. Your support makes this work possible, and we are deeply grateful to stand beside you in serving our students. Congratulations to all of our scholarship recipients and a huge shout out to all the students who performed for us. It was a magical night.

We will see you all next year on March 27th, 2027

THANK YOU. ♥️
