Just a little reminder that we are closed for Winter Break from Monday, December 22nd, 2025 through Sunday, January 4th. 2026. We'll be back in office and teaching on Monday, January 5th at 9am.

We are so excited to have our teachers stockings up in the lobby! If you or your student would like to give your teacher a gift this holiday season, you can put it right in their respective stocking for them to find!
And if you need ideas for what to gift, we have a binder in front of our coloring sheets in the lobby with lists of our teachers favorite things like candies, snacks, and more!

Vancouver Music Academy began as Musical Beginnings in 1997. We are a family-oriented school in Vancouver, WA offering musical instruction for all ages, as well as classes in glee, art, Kiddy Keys and Music 4 Munchkins. Our mission is to provide students of all ages with the skills needed to enjoy the arts for a lifetime.
Weekly music lessons with a private instructor are available in piano, voice, drums, violin, electric and acoustic guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, cello and viola. No matter the style of music you want to learn, we are confident we can match you with a teacher who can meet your needs.
We offer 2 classes for our youngest students: Music 4 Munchkins is for children ages 6 mo to 4 yrs and gets children exposed to music from the beginning of life. Kiddy Keys introduces children from 3.5 to 6 yrs the opportunity to explore the piano and learn about notes and note values, names of the keys on the piano, rhythms, composers and a lot more.
More experienced students can take advantage of our group ensemble classes.
Art classes allow students to explore all forms of art.
