When families seek out tutoring in the early years, it's amazing how much farther ahead of their peers they can get! 💥 👇
This student just started first grade and knows how to read, write and spell sentences with these concepts anchored:
▪️Consonant sounds
▪️Beginning blends like: "br", "str", "squ"
▪️Ending Blends like: "-nch" -"sk"
▪️Short Vowel Sounds
▪️Digraphs: "-ck", "th", "sh", "ch", "wh", "ph"
▪️Trigraphs: "-tch"
▪️Silent - e syllable pattern for all vowels
▪️soft C & G Rule (make different sounds next to i, e, y)

She is about 6-8 months ahead of her peers and is reading small beginning reader books with ease! If you can spell, you can read!!
