Northwest Public Power Association (NWPPA) is a not-for-profit trade association of nearly 150 public/people's utility districts, electric cooperatives, municipalities, and crown corporations in the Western U.S. NWPPA also serves the sales and networking needs of approximately 300 Associate Members across the U.S.

Wednesday at the Women in Public Power (WIPP) Conference brought inspiring conversations and inspiration from our Keynote speaker Courtney Clark teaching us about how productive persistence outperforms grit. We gained valuable insights and opportunities to learn from leaders across the public power industry.
Attendees explored topics focused on leadership, professional growth, communication, and the unique experiences of women working throughout the utility industry.

This week, utility professionals are gathering at Mason PUD 3 in Shelton, Washington for NWPPA’s Introduction to Utility Warehousing course. Led by Ellery Queen of Q Tech Professional Services, this four-part course provides participants with practical knowledge and tools to strengthen warehouse operations, including logistics, storage, materials handling, receiving and shipping processes, safety, inventory management, automation, and supervision.
