Join us in congratulating Senior Max M. for receiving this incredible honor and scholarship from EBGS!

🎉 Congratulations, Max Moran! 🎉

2026 EBGS Delegate Max Moran has been named a National Scholar for the Samsung American Legion Scholarship and will receive $10,000 toward his college education!

This scholarship has a special history. In 1996, Samsung created a $5 million fund, run by The American Legion, to thank the U.S. veterans who helped defend Korea during the Korean War. It is open only to Boys State and Girls State delegates who are descendants of wartime veterans, so Max's award honors both his own hard work and his family's service.

Max, your EBGS family is proud of you! We can't wait to see what you do next!

In September, the Class of 2027 took part in one of SC's most cherished traditions: The Senior Walk.

Throughout the day, our seniors walked together, shared moments of reflection and prayer and spent time connecting as a class.

The day offered time for faith, friendship and reflection while creating memories they'll carry with them throughout their senior year and beyond.

Thank you to our campus minister, Mrs. Trewet, and all of our faculty & staff who made this day so special for our seniors.
