Summer Upgrades! Covington Middle School's new greenhouse is ready for students!
This addition gives students in the Natural Resource Program hands-on experience learning the science of growing and sustaining flowers, vegetables and other plants in a professional greenhouse environment.
These real-world learning opportunities can help prepare students for future careers in agriculture, horticulture and other related fields.
The greenhouse was made possible through a Healthy Kids, Healthy Schools grant, with no general fund dollars used for the project.
