Spots are open in our last three multi-week courses of the year! 🍂

Two 6-week courses kick off in October (starting soon!), and something brand new joins the lineup in November:

🎁 Holiday Handbuilding (new this year!)
Make handmade gifts for the people on your list while building your hand-building skills. Beginners and mixed-level folks are all welcome. Classes meet Monday evenings, 6-8pm, starting November 9th.

Every course includes two studio sessions each week: a guided class for instruction, plus independent studio time that you sign up for whenever it fits your schedule. Come solo or bring a friend to try something new together!

End of September and October workshop & class highlights:

🍂Our fall classes continue! Monster Mugs, Spooky Ghosts, Leaf Plates, and Autumn Pumpkins all have spots available over the month and a half.

🎃Plus a brand new workshop: Creepy Candy Bowls! Explore the sgraffito carving technique and embrace spooky season!

Our next First Friday Open Sculpting session is coming up on October 2nd! Join a beginner-friendly (but all skill levels welcome) open sculpting class where you can make your ideas come to life!

👶Toddler Clay Date is on Monday, October 5th: a low-key morning of sensory exploration for kids ages 0–5. Rotate between playing at the pottery wheel, sculpting, and other fun activities.

🍵Love matcha? Join our Matcha Set Workshop kickoff event! Hand build a ceramic matcha set while sipping on freshly made matcha from Short & Sweet.

🎨Looking forward to November, we will have Marianne of Marianne Bluhm ☻︎ back for another seasonal guided painting class.

That covers our rotating monthly workshops- but our weekly introductory wheel classes, Friday & Saturday date nights, and Sunday family wheel class continue as usual!

We’re launching a new workshop and collaborating with Short & Sweet to kick it off!

Join us for a 2-hour hand-building workshop where you’ll create your own matcha bowl and whisk holder set, learning a variety of sculpting skills along the way.

Short & Sweet | Vietnamese Cafe will be whipping up fresh matcha in the studio for all participants to sip on throughout the workshop!

After class, our team will bisque fire & glaze your piece the color of your choice before you pick up your finished piece in a few weeks.

🥳 No Pinterest boards, no stress spirals- just a birthday party that basically plans itself. Kilnfolk is a calm, creative space where kids get to slow down and make something special, while parents actually get a minute to breathe (or paint right alongside them!).

Bonus: no need to stress over goodie bags, since painted pieces double as party favors! No entertainment to plan, and no mess to clean up at home. There’s a quiet kind of magic that comes with keeping things simple. All you have to do is bring the birthday kid (and maybe the cake). ☺️

While the studio is a beautiful space as-is, you’re welcome to bring your own decorations as well as any food & snacks you need. We’ve got room for up to 14 painters + 2 chaperones, and you’ll have access to our large family-style table. Weekday slots are $40 to reserve, weekend slots are $80. Pottery pieces average around $30 each, paid the day of.

Here’s to being able to show up with less stress, celebrate, and simply enjoy the moment. 💛
