Little Acorn Preschool Little Acorn Preschool is a play based, nonprofit preschool serving children ages 2.5-5 years old.

We have a fun-filled camp week coming up for your little campers! For camp this year we will have a different, fun theme with coordinating games and activities each day. Camp will run from 9 am - 12 pm each day. 2.5-3.5 year olds will have class Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please check the bulletin board for class lists. We recommend applying sunscreen before bringing your child to camp, as we won't be able to apply sunscreen during camp. Please send your camper in play clothes that can get paint on them. Weather permitting, we will have a water day during the week. Please send your child in clothes and shoes that can get wet. Please also consider sending your child with a water bottle for the day, labeled with their first and last name.

Tuition balance and t-shirt payment is due by the first day of camp. This can be paid online through Parent Square or in person on the first day of camp. T-shirts will be $20 each (slightly less than what we originally thought!)

I will be adding all children into our parent communication app, Parent Square, today and tomorrow. If you do not already have a Parent Square account, you should receive an email invite to download the app.

We have purchased new Ipads for the classroom and will be utilizing these for signing in and out each day.

The snack calendar and daily themes are listed below:

Monday: Shape Day; Ritz and Cheese Its

Tuesday: Bubbles; Rice Krispie Treats

Wednesday: Water; Freeze Pops and Popcorn

Thursday: Build it; Wheat Thins and Cheese Sticks

Friday: Camping Day, S'mores

Please communicate any allergies with your child's teacher and/or send me an email ahead of time.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated to shared information about our Love of LAPS fundraiser! We raised over $14,000!!!!
We were so surprised by the generosity of everyone and are still planning out how to use our funds. A Big Thank you to Ice Cream Renaissance for the donation of a scoop of ice cream 🍨 for everyone that raised over $75! For now, we have purchased our biggest need: A gazebo for shade on the playground! We plan to have this set up and installed before summer camp!
We are working on estimates for other play ground items and will keep everyone updated as we plan.
