Messiah Preschool students had a blast at the St. Jude Trike-A-Thon fundraiser in April practicing the bike safety tips learned in class. Preschool families and friends raised an outstanding $3,531 for St. Jude!! 100% of the proceeds went to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Way to go Messiah! 🚲💕

Preschool parent Kacey Bogart visited in April to talk about the important role nurses play in helping people feel better, reassuring the children that there was no need to be afraid of their nurses and doctors. She demonstrated some of the tools nurses use and left behind some items for the children to explore (stethoscope, elastic bandage and a finger splint). We love learning about our Community Helpers and are so appreciative of all they do!

Messiah Preschool students enjoyed a visit from Clark County Fire District 6 firefighters last week as part of their study of community helpers. Many thanks to them for taking time out of their day to share what they do to keep our community safe!! We appreciate you!
