LDMS End of Year School Picnic Kona Ice Truck

Kona Truck will be available this Friday for LDMS Studets to enjoy as we celebrate the end of the 24/25 school year.

You can send cash with your student or you can pre-order online using the link below Pre-orders must be completed no later than 10:00 am on Thursday, 5/15, so that we can get everything organized for Friday. Remember, students can also bring cash.

LDMS Student Council awarded TASC State Sweepstakes for the 10th year in a row!

Congratulations!

Congratulations! Your student council has achieved the prestigious Sweepstakes Council recognition from the Texas Association of Student Councils (TASC), the highest honor a TASC council can receive.

To earn this distinction, your council was first recognized as an Outstanding Student Council, based on your strong organization, impactful projects, active participation in TASC programs, and a positive evaluation from your administrator. You went even further by meeting rigorous criteria in the areas of Pride and Patriotism, Energy and Environment, and Drugs, Alcohol, Safety and Health. You also submitted accomplishments in School and Community Service, showing your commitment to making a meaningful impact.

This honor reflects your passion, planning, dedication, and hard work. Only councils that consistently go above and beyond receive this award. You have truly set the standard for others to follow.

As of April 2025, only 238 student councils in Texas earned this distinction for the 2024-2025 school year. You are part of a truly elite group.

Congratulations to the LDMS Student Council for receiving the National Gold Council of Excellence award for 2025! We are very proud of how hard our student leaders work throughout the year. This is the 3rd year that the LDMS StuCo has received this recognition, which is the highest award given to Student Councils.

So lucky to work with such a great group of student leaders!

We hope to see you tomorrow morning as we honor our Veterans.

LDMS Student Council and NJHS will host our annual Veterans breakfast THIS FRIDAY NOVEMBER 15th from 7:30am-8:45am at the Lake Dallas Middle School Library.

PLEASE NOTE - date is this upcoming Friday 11/15

We look forward to this event each year honoring those who served and are currently serving our country. This event is open to all Veterans in the Lake Cities communities and is a come and go event.

We look forward to seeing you there
