It’s the students that help bring the theatre to life! Thank you for the awesome storytellers and go getters that make win time and 6th period, the best it will ever be!

Happy Monday to Parents and Students!!

Just wanted to publicly commend the chemistry and support that this group has, supporting and congratulating one another on the cast announcement! That’s how we thrive as company, on encouragement and positivity!

Also something important to note, after school rehearsals. Though we will not be having any rehearsals in August, they will be occurring at some point in Mid September right after school on Wednesdays from 3:40-4:45, and Saturdays from 2:30-4:30. We will hope to have a physical copy of the rehearsal calendar as well as a digital copy on Google Classroom soon!

Hey everyone! The cast list for this year’s UIL OAP has been posted on Google Classroom! (Apologies for the first post, I tried fixing the access, so I copied and pasted the cast list instead the second time!)

Thank you to everyone who auditioned! This was not an easy decision at all nor have I seen such dedication from a young talented group all week.

However, UIL only permits us to cast 20 actors and tech all together, and If UIL could permit bigger casts, and this was not an easy decision to make. Moving forward, this is an opportunity of growth, to learn everyone can grow and help others be the best they can for many more productions to come in your future!!!

Things for students and parents to remember for the first day of school!

-if you haven’t already, follow the Van ISD and Van Junior High School for any and all important info for the school year!

-if I saw you at Meet the Teacher, please bring your syllabus contract AND show contract with you! If you weren’t there, no worries! You’ll get both of those tomorrow!

-and lastly, it’s absolutely normal to be nervous, anxious and excited all at once! We’re all here to survive the first day, but to thrive more and more throughout the school year “would be an awfully big adventure”😎
