Money goes toward our Student Wellness Program to bring activities such as 100 mile club, Road Runners, Jumpin' Jammers and our Holiday Cougar Carnival. We hope to see you there! 🐾❤️🐾

🏈 Exciting News for Van Wert Families! 🏈

We’re proud to announce the return of Flag Football season through a continued collaboration between Van Wert Football, the Van Wert Parks Department, and the YMCA — working together to create ONE unified league for youth in grades 1–6!

🗓 Registration Deadline: August 25th
📝 Drop off forms at:
• Van Wert YMCA
• Van Wert Middle School
• Van Wert Parks Department

This partnership allows us to combine resources and provide the best experience possible — preparing young athletes for future football seasons while building teamwork, skills, and confidence.

We’re excited for another great season and can’t wait to see your kids on the field!

RunJumpThrow is a free program open to all Van Wert County youth ages 5–12. This year’s event will take place on Thursday, August 14, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the Van Wert High School track.

Following the program, beginning at 6:30 p.m., the Van Wert High School Cross Country team will host a series of community races, including an Alumni Mile, Elementary Mile, Middle School Mile, and High School Mile. Participants and their families are invited to stay and enjoy these additional events.
