This weekend at the Wren Parade, our Vantage Student Ambassadors proudly represented Vantage Career Center alongside Superintendent Mr. Turner and his wife, as well as Mrs. Owens.

Picture Day is THIS Friday, August 28!

Pictures will be taken at Vantage Career Center throughout the school day. Lab instructors have been given paper order forms to distribute to students this week.

The Vantage Career Center community is deeply saddened by the passing of former student Kaci Rae Sentelik.

Kaci was also the beloved daughter of Vantage staff member Kendra Sentelik, and we extend our deepest love and support to Kendra and her family during this incredibly difficult time.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Kaci’s family, friends, former classmates, teachers, and all those whose lives she touched. Our thoughts are with everyone mourning this tremendous loss.

For current Vantage students and staff who may need additional support or someone to talk to, please reach out to Student Services. Support is available, and we encourage anyone who needs it to connect with our team.

Ready to take the first step toward a career in healthcare?

Enrollment is now open for Vantage Adult Education’s Certified Nursing Program, starting September 1, 2026!

This program includes classroom instruction and 16 hours of hands-on clinical experience in a long-term care facility. Students who successfully complete the program will be eligible to take the state test for long-term care nursing assistants.

September 1–30, 2026
Monday–Friday | 4–10 p.m.

Way to go, Isaac! 👏 Such incredible talent—and Tillie, our Vantage Chief Happiness Officer, aka School Therapy Dog, made the perfect model! 🐾❤️

Today was the first day back to school! Over the summer, TTW Senior, Isaac, qualified to go to the national level with his painting of our very own School Therapy Dog, Tillie. He earned a SUPERIOR rating!🌟🤩

Today he brought in his painting so we could get a picture with him, his painting and Tillie! We are so proud of you, Isaac. Welcome back!

Important Attendance Updates for 2026–2027

Ohio’s updated attendance law places a greater focus on total instructional time missed, including absences, tardies, and early dismissals.

For our students, every hour matters, especially when it comes to hands-on lab time, industry credentials, college credit, and work-based learning opportunities.

A huge shoutout to our Vantage Student Ambassadors!
Our ambassadors did an awesome job this week welcoming our new junior students during orientation, helping them find their way around, answering questions and making them feel at home at Vantage!
