Lancer Families are invited to the grand opening of our new elementary playground Thursday, August 13th at 6:30 pm. We will begin on the soccer field and then proceed to the playground to see and play on the new equipment. As a special treat, Kona Ice will be there! All families are encouraged to attend!

As we celebrated Memorial Day, Flag Day, and head into our nation’s 250th, we want to give a shout out to these special young men from Mr. Langdon’s class.

All year long, Lane and Kason took time out of their day to care for our flag. They watched the weather to ensure conditions were right, raised it every morning, took it down at the close of the day, folded it carefully, and made sure it was displayed properly. Not only that, these young men interacted with guests in the office, chatted with bus divers and staff, and always ended our day with a sincere smile and “have a great evening.” They even offered to take care of this duty next year even though they will be in junior high!

We couldn’t be more proud of these guys and their respect and kindness. This is what being a Lancer is all about! Thanks Kason and Lane!!!
