Feed the wonder 💭

Children already carry so much wonder within them🌱

Sometimes our role is simply to give it room to grow, time to explore, get messy, ask questions and discover the world at their own pace.

Here’s to protecting that sense of wonder for as long as we can 🌟

Normalize sharing our stories, experiences and struggles 💔

Maternal mental health issues have been front and center in the headlines recently, which is why it's so important to continue to talk about them.

I posted this on Threads this morning. It got a lot of people talking, which is exactly the point. 💖

Keep sharing your stories. There is power in sharing.

When is the last time you asked yourself that question? What do I want? Seems kind of selfish to think that way. We’re conditioned to put the needs of others first, and that’s absolutely a correct way of thinking. But we do get to choose ourselves. Ponder something each day that you want. Big or small. Novel or unimportant. Choose something you want each day- for you.

An orange ladybug, is not a ladybug at all. It’s actually an Asian lady beetle, and represents vitality, creativity, good luck and fresh opportunities. Maybe that’s why they like to come inside the house when it gets cold. 🤔

Sorrow and joy are opposite emotions, and are somewhat reciprocal. We don’t always get to choose when the sorrow creeps in, but we do get to choose (as difficult as it may seem) when to inject or remember the joy. In honor of those we have lost, speak about them. Talk about them. Remember them with reverence. That’s how they remain with us.

The calm before the storm is often the most beautiful part. It’s the part that reminds us of what is and what’s to come. Embrace all of it and be present.
P.S. This isn’t about the weather.
