Shoutout to Ag Construction 2 for building another trailer this year! Seniors Bradley Reed, Hayes Townsley, and Fletcher McSpadden led the project, and it wouldn’t have been completed without the hard work and support of the entire class! 💪🏼🧑🏽‍🏭

More highlights from our State FFA Convention trip! 🌟

While in Columbia, we toured Jefferson Farm & Garden, a 67-acre educational farm run by MU Extension that connects people to agriculture through hands-on learning and outreach.

One of the most interesting parts was learning about Slovenian AZ bee hives. These hives open from the back like a cabinet, and the frames slide out horizontally—eliminating heavy lifting. The hives there are designed especially for veterans and individuals in wheelchairs, making beekeeping more accessible and reducing physical strain.

Great experience showing our students the innovation and inclusivity within agriculture!

Collin Crafton, our chapter President, is being awarded his State FFA degree tonight, an honor formerly known as State Farmer and the highest distinction a Missouri FFA member can attain.

While the thunderstorms forced our early departure, we are grateful that Collin’s family and supporters are present to celebrate this milestone with him. If you see Collin, please offer your congratulations on his achievement as Van Buren’s first state degree recipient!🎉
