Heh guys! I thought I should do an about me post for those who may not know me personally!
My name is Samantha and I love to of course sew, watch the sunrise, and my favorite color is purple! I have been married to my wonderful husband for 11 years now and we have 3 beautiful kiddos and 2 dogs! We have moved all over the place these past 11 years, from Oklahoma, to California, to Texas, and now back home again! In my free time I like to read my Bible, watch Greys Anatomy, Ted Lasso, or listen to a true crime podcast. I am fascinated by the world around us. I recently graduated and have my bachelors in teaching high school biology which was so fun to do!
I started Snips n’ Thread because I love to sew and it also helps me to stay home with my two youngest until they are in school. I love sewing and I love making things for others so I figure why not try and give this little business a fun go!

About: I can’t tell you too much just yet, but Veiled in Lanternlight is a dark, no-spice romantasy with themes of light vs dark, perseverance, finding the good in life, and choosing love against all odds! It features a captive princess, a traveling merchant’s son with a penchant for heroism, an evil usurper who wants the throne for himself, and a lantern festival. This book is the perfect mix of sweet, beautiful, and heartwarming, and dark, depressing, and gritty. 🥲

My favorite stories will always be where the characters are surrounded by horrible, dark circumstances and have to fight and strive for the light, even when all seems hopeless and empty of happiness. Where despite all of the suffering they’ve experienced, they’re still soft and kind inside.

My hope with this book is to show that even amidst great darkness, Light is still with us. ❤️
