Free Summer Meals begin Monday, June 1! ☀️

VBSD Child Nutrition will provide free meals for all children ages 18 and under throughout June. Families can choose from on-site meal locations or convenient grab-and-go/weekly meal pick-up options.

Our Fun Day yesterday was ridiculously awesome! Loads of laughs were definitely had! It was a totally epic way to wrap up the year.

It’s hard to believe we’re already wrapping up another school year in Pointer Nation. 💚

As we finish out these last few days, here’s a look ahead at the 2026-2027 school year calendar. We’re thankful for a great year and already excited to welcome everyone back again this fall. 🐾

Yearbooks are in, and we have extras. You can purchase an extra yearbook for $20. We also have extra yearbooks from last year for $10. Make sure to send money in an envelope with the student's name on it and "yearbook" on it so we know for sure what you are purchasing. All extra yearbooks are while supplies last, so don't wait!

We've wrapped up another unforgettable year of 5th Grade Camp, and it's clear the students had an experience that will stay with them forever. They truly made it one of our most exceptional groups, and I'm deeply grateful for the community's support that makes this opportunity possible, as well as the Van Buren School District's commitment to providing these life-changing experiences for our students. As so many kids said this week, "this is the best day of my life!" And I heard that said all 3 days! So may new experiences that several students may never have otherwise! Beyond grateful we can provide these life experiences for our kiddos! There are so many more pictures! If you want to see them all, being watching for a note home about how to access them!
