Our first whole-class discussion was a huge success! Our discussion topic: What events led to Otzi the Iceman’s demise? Students had to support their ideas with a claim, evidence, and explanation. The kiddos did such an amazing job sharing their ideas, and listening to one another, that they earned donuts as a Friday reward! Whoo-hoo! They are off to a fantastic start! 🎉

These hard working young ladies were the IXL Top Math Growth winners for the year in each class! They earned a pizza party with a friend, complete with drink and candy of their choice! Congrats Rayleigh (+270) and Junie (+350). I am so proud of your hard work and perseverance this year!!
