Coach Batey held our Pacer test championship yesterday. Congrats to all who qualified and a special congrats to our two winners! 💙❤️

Our 4th grade economic market was a huge success. 👏🏼 Students developed business plans, interviewed for “loans”, made products, and sold them to family members today. Thanks to the Van Buren Education foundation for grants that provide our students with opportunities like these. ❤️💙

Our 5th graders enjoyed a celebration picnic after their awards assembly. Thank you Big Dog Grill for setting up and feeding our students today. They loved it!

Our 5th grade “Operating Rooms” were a huge success! Students scrubbed in just like real surgeons and worked together to perform “surgery” on famous patients. To complete each procedure successfully, they had to solve challenging math problems using their order of operations skills. From the waiting room to the operating table, our students showed teamwork, critical thinking, and lots of excitement for learning.

We are proud to report that every patient survived surgery thanks to the hard work and quick thinking of our amazing student surgeons!

Please welcome Jodie Roberson, our new 3rd grade teacher, to Parkview! Mrs. Roberson will be joining us for the 2026-2027 school year and we are very excited for her to become a part of the Parkview family!

"My name is Jodie Roberson and I am so excited to be joining the 3rd grade team at Parkview Elementary for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! This school year, I will be finishing out my 16th year of teaching. My husband, Kyle, and I have been married for 10 years. Together, we have two children, Heidi (9) and Hunter (6). In my free time, I enjoy playing card games with my family, or thrifting. I am incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to join the team at Parkview and cannot wait to be a Patriot!"
