As many of you may be hearing, Black Moon Learning Center will closing their current location as of March 1 2025.

With the ever rising costs of food and necessities, and the uncertanties of state assistance, this goal is no longer feasable.

Will we be closed forever? As Pete the Cat says..."GOODNESS NO!"

During this pause, plans to create a new Center (closer to home) will be taking place, in order to better serve Mrs. Chelsea, her family and the community as a whole.

We can't wait to continue down this journey, and are excited to see how our future grows! 🖤🦋

I love seeing how creative the kids of ALL ages can get with these foam building mats!

Who would of thought something like this would not only promote imagination, but also help grow Social and Emotional skills in the process!

This set is a but smaller from the norm, so the younger kiddos can get in on the fun...and skill building as well!

A lot of changes 🦋 have been taking place within the Center!

The kiddos have started to create their own "in-house" art gallery (pics when its done!) The infant and toddler area got a makeover AND the older kid room did as well...with new centers, such as the Farmers Market, Dramatic Play, every vintage Lego kids could want andddd a Peppa Pig area where the kids can let their imagination be set free!

We still have (2) spots open...come see if our space is a good fit to care for your kiddos! 🖤

New crowd-funding project in the making!

This past Fall, Mrs. Chelsea was part of a small group (of about 10) other ECE specialists in the State of Maine to be chosen for a special grant to develop curriculum within the Center!

With this large grant, we were able to get a few fun and engaging new play-things, from an outdoor climber for bigger kids, to a water/ rice table, to even some Science curriculum. ( LOVE the giant frog stuffie paired with a book about Cells.)

This Spring is going to breathe new life, and activities at Black Moon Learning Center LLC
