This afternoon we had our last event of the year! Our solo contest! These kids performed so well! We will give out ratings in class tomorrow!! Thank you parents and students for your hard work and flexibility!! I tried to get as many pictures as I could

We are so proud of these kids! The 7th graders performed at UIL for the very first time and the 8th graders played the best they ever have before!! These kids have a bright future ahead of them!

And the winner of the “VApercussion Rubber Chicken Paradiddle Smackdown of 2024!”…is C**t Jablonski! Congrats to C**t and his outstanding classmates on a spirited competition. C**t topped out on the exercise Paradiddle #1 at a blazing First Year student…230 beats per minute! Bravo, 2024 VApercussion First Year Class! VApercussion…Drum Strong…Drum Real. 🤠

Today our high school band joined the symphonic band in playing their UIL music! It was so exciting! We had 72 total kids in the band!!

The 5th grade instrument fair is in full swing! Come by to test out different instruments for beginner band!!

Today the band, choir, and theater visited the elementary schools to demonstrate some of the elective choices the 5th graders have next year. They did a great job and the 5th graders seem excited! Thank you so much to these kids for representing their programs so well!

In the begginer band classes we've started Scale Karate and we already have our first student to earn her white belt! Congratulations to Meg Blanch! She needed to pass of 3 scales to earn this belt!
