📢 Children With and Without Autism Needed for a Research Study on Child Development

Researchers at the University of South Florida's Rightpath Research & Innovation Center are looking for children ages 3 to 12 years to participate in a study examining child development.

✅ Children with autism and children without autism may be eligible
✅ Activities can be completed online
✅ Families can receive valuable information about their child's language, reading, math, and social-emotional skills
✅ Participants may earn up to $140 for completing all study activities

Florida families, there are only a few days left to take advantage of the 2026 Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday. The holiday ends Thursday, August 20.

Before it wraps up, take another look at your family’s school-year needs. In addition to notebooks, pencils, backpacks, lunch boxes, clothing, and shoes, families of children with disabilities may want to consider eligible items that support learning and daily routines, such as headphones or earbuds, tablets or laptops, keyboards and mice, educational software, flashcards, memory games, puzzle books, and other qualifying learning aids.

Every child’s needs are different, so use these final days to check the items your student relies on throughout the school day and at home. Be sure to review Florida’s eligibility requirements and price limits before purchasing.
