Welcome back to school! We hope you had a great Sneak Peek and are looking forward to the school year ahead.

We all know car line can be stressful. If we each do our part, we can keep our kids safe and the traffic flowing. Here's a quick refresher on car line procedures at Alafia.

🛑Note: Please do not drop students off by the gate on Nature's Way. When cars pull in there, they block walkers and bikers, and create a dangerous blind spot.

🚘 ⚠️CAR LINE FLOW⚠️ 🚘

🚙 Please form TWO lines in each row to avoid cars sitting on the main road.

🚗 MERGE at the turns then form TWO lines when entering the next row.

🚙 ONE line at the front row when picking up your child.

🛑 RIGHT turn only when exiting the school lot.

☀️SINGLE line throughout during MORNING Drop Off only.

📚✨ Teacher assignments are now available in Focus! ✨📚

Before you can view your child’s teacher assignment, be sure to complete all required back-to-school forms in Focus. Once those forms are submitted, your student’s information will be available. https://www.hillsboroughschools.org/o/hcps/page/focus

It's almost time for Sneak Peek Open House at Alafia Elementary. Here's what you need to know:

Open House is for ALL grades PK - 5th.

Student last names beginning with A through M attend from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
Student last names beginning with N through Z attend from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Attending during your time slot helps ensure students have the opportunity to drop off supplies, find their seats, and meet their teacher without overcrowding.

Teacher assignments are typically sent out the week of open house.

If you missed the presale, a LIMITED QUANTITY of yearbooks are for sale at https://alafiapta.com/gator-store today Tues May 19 and tomorrow Weds May 20 ONLY.

In-person sales of remaining yearbooks will be THIS Friday May 22nd from 7:10 - 7:35AM in Willis Park (middle of campus). We can only accept Cash or Check in person. Please make checks payable to Alafia PTA.

Softcover yearbooks are $25. Hardcover yearbooks are $35.
