Ellen David is an adult piano student of mine who will soon celebrate one year of piano lessons!! She played the flute through her second year of college, but never studied the piano when she was younger. I am so proud of what she has accomplished in so short a time, while still working a full-time job! Here is Ellen playing the melody while I play the duet part to “Sing We Now of Christmas.”

Last night I attended Na’Heem’s (one of my piano students) first in-person Orchestra Concert at Progress Village Middle Magnet School of the Arts!! Na’Heem, who is the student playing the string bass behind the conductor, is a very talented 7th grade musician and I am so very proud of all of his accomplishments!!🎹🎶
