Okay, hive mind, I (Kathy Sipple) am seeking ideas/input...
I have several participants identified who want to take my Sociocracy class (Module 1) but the availability of the training space in my building somehow seems to not match up with the dates and times students are available. (I will also want to offer a Module 2 soon as well.)
Module 1 is 16 hours of content. Module 2 is 24 hours of content. I could, of course, offer this training on Zoom which is what my International Group of Sociocracy Centers does and what we did out of necessity during the pandemic. Since I am eager to build a local/regional center, it feels important to offer the training in person.
I am already paying for office space elsewhere so paying again for a training room doesn't feel good. Plus, not many students are paying 'retail' price for this training so it's not bringing in much revenue (yet, at least.)
What would be perfect would be a place/organization that would like to be more of a partnership rather than a pop-up event that moves from place to place. I could offer you and/or your members free or discounted spots at the training in exchange for you providing the place where students can gather.
I live in Valparaiso so if the organization or building was somewhat close to me that would be ideal. A progressive organization that values learning and implementing decentralized governance would also be ideal.
What information have I forgotten to mention that's important? Please DM me or comment below if you have questions or ideas for me.
Thanks in advance.

The Zen school of Buddhism has a long history, and a great variety of disciplines and lineages. The referenced post below by Sociocracy Expert John Shinnerer explores a few similarities between the wisdoms of Zen and sociocracy, based primarily on contemporary lineages of “engaged Buddhism.”
Sharing now because it feels like we could all use a little more Zen (and more sociocracy) in our lives. Together, they're even better!

Today's sociocracy news...
Several sociocracy experts around the globe this morning to provide feedback for Barbara Strauch's Keep the Balance board game to help people learn consent decision making, a key part of sociocracy. Shown here are Barbara, the game's creator from Soziokratie Zentrum in Austria; Kathy Sipple from Valparaiso, Indiana where NWI Sociocracy Center is located; Cynthia Storm from Colorado and John Buck with GovernanceAlive LLC near Washington DC.
Verena Fink from Ελληνικό Κέντρο Σοσιοκρατίας in Greece and Swarnalakshmi Ravi in India also joined us but left before we had the idea to snap a photo.
The other photos show a close up of the gameboard and a few of the games I have hosted in Northwest Indiana.
