🎉 Celebrating 15 years of dedication and leadership!

This month marks 15 years of Dr. Christina Cavinder’s commitment to CONHP!

Over the past decade and a half, Associate Dean Cavinder has served as an educator, mentor, and leader—teaching across both the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs while helping prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.

A proud Valpo alumna who earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Valparaiso University, Associate Dean Cavinder has continued to grow alongside CONHP, bringing her passion for nursing education, professional excellence, and student success to every role she has held.

Recently named Associate Dean and Chief Nurse Administrator for Nursing, Dr. Cavinder continues to advance the nursing profession through her leadership on campus, involvement with professional organizations and boards, and dedication to strengthening nursing education.

Thank you, Associate Dean Cavinder, for 15 years of service, leadership, and commitment to our students, our programs, and the nursing profession. We are grateful for all you do and excited for the continued impact you will make in the years ahead!
