Last night at SEPAC was such a good reminder of how many amazing people and resources we have right here in our community. 💚

It was so nice getting to see what everyone else is doing, learn about the different resources available, and just connect with people who genuinely want to help families.

But I think my favorite part was how encouraging everyone was about Sensory Social Club. 🥹 People stopped to talk, asked questions, took our information to share with other families, and were just SO supportive of what we’re trying to build.

As a mom myself and someone who started this simply because I wanted families like ours to have more support, more connection, and more places where our kids can just be themselves… that meant a lot to me.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, talked with me, shared resources, or grabbed information to pass along. Every little connection helps us reach another family who might need us. 💚

So grateful to be a small part of such a supportive community. 🫶

The merch is MOVING. 🖤⚡️

The Sensory Social Club will always be our home for sensory-friendly events, parent support, resources, advocacy, and financial assistance for autistic individuals and their families.

But the merch? She needed her own place. 😂

Meet Regulation Supply Co. — the new home for our apparel + goods, created by The Sensory Social Club.

Because advocacy doesn’t have to be boring. It can be loud. Funny. A little unhinged. Something you actually want to wear. And something that starts conversations without feeling like a walking informational pamphlet.

Same heart. Same mission. Just a new home for the merch. 🖤

Sensory Social Club started with one really simple thought: I just want to help. 💚

As a mom, I know how much our autistic kids deserve to be understood, supported, included, and given every opportunity to blossom into exactly who they are.

That’s what I want SSC to be.

A place where our kids can show up as themselves. Where families don’t have to explain or apologize. Where we can create sensory-inclusive experiences, connect parents with resources, and step in with financial support when we’re able.

I don’t have some huge, complicated vision behind why I started this.

I just really love these kids. I want to advocate for them, make things a little easier for their families, and help them blossom as much as they possibly can. 🌱💚

That’s Sensory Social Club.

This is a hard conversation, but it’s one we need to have. 💚

Autistic children, teens, and adults can experience mental health struggles that aren’t always obvious from the outside. Sometimes distress looks like withdrawal. Sometimes it looks like burnout, increased meltdowns, changes in behavior, or simply not seeming like themselves.

Su***de prevention starts with noticing, listening, taking changes seriously, and creating a space where someone feels safe enough to say, “I’m not okay.”

We don’t have to have all the right words. We just have to be willing to listen, believe them, and help them find support.

Sometimes families just need a little extra help. 💚

The Sensory Social Club Assistance Program was created to support local autism families when something important feels just a little out of reach.

Whether it’s a sensory item, safety equipment, therapy-related need, or another expense that could make everyday life a little easier — we want families to know they can reach out.

There’s no shame in needing help, and you don’t have to have everything figured out before asking. If we’re able to help, we want to. And if we can’t, we’ll do our best to point you toward someone who can.
