Six Strings in Valparaiso is a local musical instruction studio located downtown at 259 Indiana Ave. He studied musical performance at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California. Rocco Jr has been teaching students of all ages with 15+ years of experience!
Rocco Calipari Jr offers lessons to all abilities and ages! Rocco currently has 80+ students that he enjoys teaching all different genres of music, techniques, and music theory.

Wow!!! Six Strings Music Fest 2026 was 🤘🏼AWESOME!! We have a very very long list of local vendors, sponsors, and bands we would like to thank for making this year so great!!

This years sound and lighting was the INCREDIBLE!!!Caruso Live Audio turned up!! Trevor and his partner were on top of every sound, kick, crash, and vocals! If you were around Valpo, you KNEW Six Strings Fest was rockin! 🤘🏼

If for some reason you didn’t hear it, you could definitely see the lights from SPACE!! Lights were by Mark A Stewart and it was unbelievable!! Thank you!!

I would also like to thank the AMAZING bands for bringing so much fun, energy, and bravery to the stage!! Subcyst and LAKE 🤘🏼rocked🤘🏼 the stage for the 2nd year in a row!! Both bands NEVER disappoint and started the fest off right!! Roven hit the stage for the 1st time and brought all your favorite tunes and killed it! The Nondorf Family band was an absolute SHOWSTOPPER!!! All the kids were nervous never playing a music festival and they were FLAWLESS!Our daughter, Marley hit the stage for the very first time and totally 🎸ROCKED IT too, soooo proud!!!

❤️🤍The White Lines Band had a great time performing and opening up the headliner American Idiots Chicago - Green Day Tribute!!!
It truly was something unpredictable but in the end it’s right!! We definitely had the time of our life!!! Thank you guys for making the night one to remember!!!

Bring a chair and come early to grab a good seat and dinner! We have A LOT of amazing local food vendors such as Dr. Dawg, The Rolling Stonebaker Pizza, and Leroy’s 🤤 !! Of course Leroy's "Hot Stuff"will also be there serving up ice cold drinks 🍻!!! Valpo Velvet Ice Cream Truck will be there to help keep the night sweet and cool!!!
