Happy Homecoming Week, VCS!

Get ready to have some fun when we celebrate homecoming with a parade, tailgate, and football game on Friday, September 25, 2026. All VCS families are invited and encouraged to attend! Here’s what you need to know:

1) The homecoming parade starts at 4:00 p.m. at Benjamin Franklin Middle School, continues down Campbell St., and ends at Valparaiso High School. Line up along Campbell St. to support our students marching in the parade!

2) There is a tailgate at VHS immediately following the parade, starting at approximately 4:30 p.m. We’ll have fun games, face painting, a photo booth, and tons of delicious food. Our talented culinary students at VALE will be cooking chicken kabobs and beef empanadas!

3) The homecoming game against Crown Point High School kicks off at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for the game can be purchased online or at the gate.

We’ll see you on Friday!

🏈👑💚 IT’S HOMECOMING WEEK! 💚👑🏈

Northview Elementary will be part of the Homecoming Parade! 🎉 We’d love to have our Northview families join us and help represent our school! 💚

📣 Interested in participating? Please sign up using the link in the comments!

🍬 PTO will provide the candy!
This is NOT a drop-off event — an adult must stay with their child(ren).

Since it’s a half day of school, we hope you’ll come back and join us for all the Homecoming fun! 🏈💚

🌟 We are starting our week by celebrating our first Viking VIPs of the year! 🌟

Students earn PRIDE awards when they are caught showing what it means to be a Northview Viking: Positive Attitude, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Effort. Each Monday, one name is drawn from each classroom to be recognized as a Viking VIP!

Congratulations to our first Viking VIPs! We are proud of you and can’t wait to see our students continue showing their Viking PRIDE throughout the week!💚
