Congratulations to Ella Graves, who was selected as the 2025-26 Rin Seibert Sportsmanship Award winner. We would like to give a special thank you to the Seibert family (Emily, Chris, Andy, and John), Pat Broadstone, Tristan Leonhard, and Mark and Karen Ennis for their assistance in selecting our winner.

The Rin Seibert Sportsmanship Award, in memory of Rin Seibert, former Director of Recreational Sports, was created to celebrate and remember the impact Rin had during her 40 years of service at Valparaiso University. She exemplified the Valpo experience, created a positive, welcoming environment for all, and dedicated her time and energy in finding ways she could help others. Embodying the ideals of good sportsmanship were pillars in the foundation of inclusion Rin created for the Recreational Sports department.
