New Issue of VALPARAISO FICTION REVIEW
We are pleased to announce publication of the latest issue of VALPARAISO FICTION REVIEW! The Summer 2026 (Volume 15, Issue 2) release features fiction from James Hartman, James A. Jordan, Victor McConnell, David Obuchowski, Colleen Olle, Ryan Pollard, Daisy Tsui, and Meg Yardley. At more than 275 pages, this is the longest issue ever in VFR's 15 years.

On March 4th, award-winning writer and columnist Jerry Davich spoke to students of Professor Buinicki and Professor Hanson at Valparaiso University. He discussed how he became a professional writer, how he uses narrative leads to grab a reader's attention, and the big questions he asks to kickstart conversations.
