Come check out the reflections of CAPS Fellows Nickie Star and Matthew Landrum, who are interning at the Grunewald Guild and the Compass International Family Center, respectively. Nickie recently began her internship, and in less than a week she has already been able to reflect on the interactions she’s had and the relationships she’s built at the Grunewald Guild. Matthew shared his second reflection from his work with Compass and has been delving deeply into the presence of Christ in those who help meet the community’s needs.

The summer is off to another week, and we have a new blog post up! CAPS 2026 cohort member Angel Johnson reflects on how she has realized that small interactions, as simple as they may seem, can have a big impact on people’s lives, along with being surprised by how much she has evolved and grown in such a short time. It seems this has been just the beginning of a journey of significant professional and personal growth for Angel, who also shares that she has reflected deeply on her calling and purpose since she began her internship with the By The Hand Club for Kids. We’re so proud!
